10-0 when Cadillac gets 22 or more

I was reading on NFL.com that the bucs are 10-0 when Cadillac carries the ball twenty two times or more. I just thought that was interesting. And now I have to try to get to the word limit so I can post this on here. I think our game plan this weekend should be cadillac. Any thoughts? do you guys like him more or ward? man, i cant get to seventy f words yet.

yea man.

doesn’t look like he’ll be doing that this Sunday. His knee is acting up again, but he is probable. Either way, from what I’ve heard, Derrick Ward will be getting the start Sunday vs the Giants.
But i think these types of facts go hand in hand with any team. The stat for Minnesota is ‘Give the ball to AP PERIOD’ (haha). Rushing is success. It keeps the ball away from the other team, and you get plenty of possession doing it. People complained why not give the ball to Caddy 20-something times, well, it’s not easy to do that when we fall into huge holes in the first quarter.
Good stuff though, we’ll need the run game to come out Sunday against the Giants. Looks like our starting 3 wide-outs are Michael Clayton, Brian Clark, and Sammie Stroughter. Look for Winslow and our run game to have a big day ;)

As of right now,

Caddy is questionable. He should get some carries, but look for Graham and Ward to try and grind this one out.

Glen Coffee is still available in most leagues

get him while it’s hot. Gore is out for a few weeks at least.

FOr the longest time, we had a sick winning % when Alstott scored a TD in a game,

Or if Alstott went over 100 yards, I think we only lost one game when he did.

Thats some good info there ClipperMyth, thanks.

Those were the days

when Mike Alstott went for a hundred yards in a game. When he did it, the other teams LB’s and secondary were usually too shell shocked and bruised to stop anything else.

Great stat. Thanks for sharing.

Though sticking to the run-game may not be enough to win this game, although it will definitely help TOP which we desperetly need to control.

Yea man,

TOP is huge. Let’s make sure we score too ;)
I remember against the Bills last Sunday, by the end of the first quarter (or sometime near there) the score was 0-17 Bills. Their (the Bills) total TOP was around 2 minutes…

It's funny, you normally hear about teams (like Miami)

running the ball and controlling the clock to keep the opposing team off the field. We do it to keep our D off the field. We face some good teams, but Im terrified by our defense, not the other teams.

I've gotten used to this train of thought

this year with the Bucs and Seminoles. Controlling the clock is going to be tough against NYG though. They have a very marginal defense with the 32 ranked DVOA against the run.

tough...but possible

was what I intended to say.

if

the Bucs lose again, like they have been, I’m liable to just quit cheering for both the Noles and Bucs this season….

Are you sure the Noles secondary isn’t starting for the Bucs too???

by gonolesrolltide on Sep 27, 2009 8:15 AM EDT up reply actions

seriously?

Do you know why that stat exists? Teams run more when they are ahead. That’s it. It is not a CAUSE of the wins, it is the EFFECT of the wins. Use your heads people.

The Bucs have NEVER lost a game when they've scored more points than the other team.

I think the key to beating the Skins this week is to score more than them.
