Around SBN: Two Minutes Of Thunder Basketball Wins The Game

"Why not Harrison or Boldin? Why not? Why not? Why not? We will all get our opportunities. Look, the Cardinals had Boldin and Fitzgerald on the same field and got to the Super Bowl. There would be no problem here. You think I will complain about balls if we go to the Super Bowl? Come on!" - Bucs WR Antonio Bryant lobbying for Marvin Harrison or Anquan Boldin to join the team.

I too was thinking

about the possibility of the Bucs going after Marvin. Despite his potential money demands, he would be a solid addition to the team. He has struggled the past two seasons however and at 36 he may not be worth the flier.

Harrison has lost too much of a step to be worth taking a flier on him.

Doesn’t jive with the whole “we’re getting younger/we’re gonna give the young guys a chance” mantra that Raheem keeps force-feeding us.

Cannons... fire them.

I agree and what are the chances he stays heatlthy this year

But props to AB, nice unselfish statement…I don’t know if I’ve ever seen ’ WR ’ and ’ [ won’ t ] complain about balls ’ in the same sentence before.

I think harrison has passed the age

that the Bucs are looking for from their players, or we would have kept Joey, who is a much better receiver, right now that is.

Just think, last year if we would have gotten Brett Favre, maybe WE would have lost 4 of last 5 games of the season like the Jets.....DOH!!!

If Harrison can play
  1. then I’d say sign him today. But it must be bad if I’d rather gamble on clayton than Harrison.
