Rookie QB Josh Freeman's Wonderlic Score was a 27...
For those of you who were curious: At the scouting combine, Josh Freeman scored a 27 on the Wonderlic, the standardized intelligence test used by the NFL. The other top QB prospects, Matthew Stafford and Mark Sanchez, scored a 38 and 28. A year ago Matt Ryan and Joe Flacco registered a 32 and 27 respectively.

That's a decent score
He’s smart enough to learn a playbook. You can’t score a 6 on a wonderlick like VY and expect to be a QB in the NFL for long, it’s too demanding to do it just on athletic ability. I’m more impressed with Stafford, 38 is genius territory.
Mike Mayock
made a good point.
The top 3 qb’s this year were juniors.
Ryan and Flacco were 5th year seniors. To me that is undue hyped placed on these guys
Surreal to be Teal
Interesting.
I think Marino bombed that test, got a 16. You never know what you’ll get in a QB, regarless of a score. Most of it is work ethic in my opinion.
Cannons... fire them.

Yup...
…for the most part you may want a good score from a QB, but at the same time, some of the greats had pretty low scores. Talent and work ethic go along way. Just because a guy isn’t the sharpest tool in the shed doesn’t mean he can’t succeed if he has the talent and desire too. Far too much consideration is given to these scores and 40 times.

As long as it's above 15
That is the watermark for idiots. I can’t believe Louis Delmas got a 12.
