Well, after watching that video...
I’m far more sold on the guy. I was originally a little iffy on it because of his size and lack of home-run speed, but the kind of stuff they talk about in there don’t show up in the guy’s measurables… that’s damn fine fundamentals he had on display there. Probably ended up with a solid value that late in the 7th… or, at the VERY least, better value than Boyd ended up being last year.

i think he also allows us
assuming he makes the squad, to use Clifton Smith in the run game more. We don’t have to rely on Smith as much in the return game which will keep him energized. Plus given all of the bums we’ve had returning over the years, it would be nice to have a real tandem back there on kickoffs
Stroughters East-West type skills worry me a bit as that almost never translates to the NFL, but he’s a 7th round pick…. should be interesting

Nice
Good piece by the Draft guys. Liked this pick when a I saw it knowing Stroughter was a top guy coming out of High School and produced in college, despite adversity. This vid seals the deal for this being a big value pic for the Bucs. NOW lets see it in the SHOW!
SWEEEEEET!!!!!
This guy can contrlo his body in such a way that it can not be taught. It is one of those instincs that you are either born with or you are not and that video shows that he was definately born with it. He is short but so is Steve Smith but if one has the right technique and skills then they are able to adjust to benafit from it. Stroughter will probably become more than just a spot filler on this team.
