Haynesworth wasn't ready to join Re-Build

Washington Redskins DT Albert Haynesworth provides a little insight into why he picked the Skins over the Bucs:

"Cutting a bunch of those guys and having a bunch of new starters didn't help the situation any. I felt comfortable with Raheem. He seemed to be a good person and he's going to be a good coach, and I thought they had a lot of upside. I guess they wanted to have that fresh new look and that's what they went for. It didn't really scare me off, but it didn't really help the situation." - St. Pete Times

I take these quotes to mean Albert wasn't ready to join a team in rebuild mode. I don't think he saw Derrick Brooks get released and think, 'That could be me'. Keric touched on this in the comments section, this is a overlooked obstacle for most of us that inevitably came into play this past weekend. You can't make a guy sign that doesnt want to sit through a rebuild.
