Chris Mortensen of ESPN reports the Buccaneers offered a 1st Round and 3rd Round Pick for the Broncos QB Jay Cutler. The Patriots opted to choose the lesser of the picks from Kansas City rather than give Josh McDaniels QB Matt Cassel in Denver. I promise this is the last I'll speak of Cutler. I just thought it was interesting that the Bucs could have entered the Draft with no first day picks. Though who cares had that netted them Cutler and Winslow...

I'm with Jerry on this one. Kind of torn because I am a firm believer in the draft.

But believe you me, I would have given up nearly our whole damn draft for Cutler and Winslow. Mostly for Cutler, but since Winslow was already traded for I included him.

Cutler is worth a 1st and 3rd

As much as I don’t want to see us taking our first pick in the 4th round, you have to take the young franchise QB who has 10 good years left over 2 potential NFL players. Especially considering we never have had a QB the caliber of Cutler. Of course, all of this means nothing because Cutler is no longer an option for us…
