So I wasn't shocked at all when former Tampa Bay Buccaneer DT Warren Sapp up and retired. Was it abrupt? Yes, but it didnt surprise me as he'd played 12 seasons at a grueling position and the Raiders suck with no success in sight. Then when I heard about Sapp joining the crew on HBO's Showtime's "Inside the NFL" I again wasn't alarmed and even looked forward to the candid debates the QB Killa would provide. Warren has gone off and done it now, I'm shocked, I'm alarmed, I'm frightened, and stunned by his decision to: 'Dance with the Stars' .. No way Warren, no way.
Emmitt Smith, Jerry Rice, and Jason Taylor can do it, because let's face it they've always had that sugar-in-the-tank to them, but Warren friggon Sapp!? Wow, I can't get my head around that.. What's next my man? Weight-loss commercials? Don't do it Warren! But he is going to do it. At least he'll be on the show with Baby Matrix's (aka Reggie Bush) girl, Kim Kardashian and R&B Singer, Toni Braxton. The other contestants are: actress Cloris Leachman, actor Ted McGinley, model-actress Brooke Burke, chef Rocco DiSpirito, Cody Linley of "Hannah Montana", two Olympic athletes: Misty May-Treanor and Maurice Greene and finally comedian Jeffrey Ross. The show premiere's on September 22nd at 8pm Est...
Thank goodness Monday Night Football will be rocking and rolling (Jets and Chargers 8:30pm Est)...
